In parties, Priests play as support characters, specializing in buffing or debuffing. They are the most durable characters in the game, providing high defense with armor that grants health bonuses, defensive shields, and maces. After completing the required INT bonus for the desired armor, and the STR bonus for the weapon and shield, they should allocate the remaining bonus points to HP.
Priests who prefer buff skills contribute extra health and defense to themselves and their party members. They strive to stay alive by using healing skills that restore 960-1920 and 10000 health. It is their priority to cleanse debuffs from enemy players using skills like "Cure Curse" or "Bless of God."
Priests who prefer debuff skills are the cornerstone of aggressive gameplay. Skills like Super Parasite, Parasite, Torment, Massive, Subside, and Malice can reduce the health and defense of opponents or creatures by up to 30%.
As for equipment, Priests prefer armor sets like Priest Chitin Armor set, Priest Chitin Shell Armor set, Priest Krowaz Armor set, and Priest Holy Armor set. They choose shields like "Name" of Shield, Dread Shield, Gab's Adamant, and Gab's Blessing, as well as maces like Holy Animor, Lobo Hammer, and Lycoan Hammer.
If we said INT Priests are resilient, powerful, and indispensable in parties, we can say the opposite for STR Priests. However, despite their weak nature, STR Priests can deal high damage and eliminate opponents or creatures within seconds. After completing the required INT bonus for the desired armor, they should allocate all remaining points to STR. If the STR stat reaches 255, the remaining points should be allocated to HP.
Due to their nature, STR Priests should focus on buff skills. Wearing low-level armor with STR bonuses will significantly reduce their health and defense. Therefore, they should compensate for the drawbacks with buff skills.
If you have access to items that provide HP and defense bonuses, playing a STR Priest with debuff skills can be enjoyable. Having skills that reduce HP and defense allows you to quickly eliminate creatures and other players.
For an effective STR Priest, your character should be at least level 72. The most effective skill, "Helis," will unlock at level 72 and provide a significant advantage. To unlock the Helis skill, allocate 12 skill points to the Master skill class.
For equipment, the Fabric set is preferred for armor selection, and weapons like Iron Impact, Hell Breaker, and Mirage Sword are favored. However, keep in mind that Mirage Sword provides attack bonuses at the master level.
In recent times, the evolving farming system in the game has made the INT-STR build for Priest characters popular. Characters built in this way may not have a significant impact on other players or parties. However, due to their high defense and the ability to deal high damage, they are often preferred in battles against creatures.
The key difference of this Priest build, capable of buffing or debuffing, lies in equipment selection. Wearing INT Priest armors and damage-dealing weapons like the Smite Hammer strengthens them in creature killing. Additionally, equipping an MP recovery weapon alongside their main weapon ensures that their MP level does not decrease during attacks. This allows the character to eliminate all creatures without incurring expenses.
For INT-STR Priests, the stat bonuses are 255 INT, as much STR as required by the equipment, and the remaining bonuses allocated to HP.
After reaching level 60, if your character is from the El Morad race, you can acquire the Paladin master title, or if your character is from the Karus race, you can become a Shadow Knight. The master title strengthens your character and grants access to new skills. To reach the master level, you need to deliver one Unstable Kentaraus Heart, one Colmicola's Essence, and one Trethonz's Essence to the NPC named [Priest] Minerva in the castle of your race (El Morad Castle or Luferson Castle).
With the game's revamped skill unlocking system, Priest characters, like all other characters, can unlock their skills above level 60 using Spellstone Powder. The requirements are as follows: 5 Spellstone Powder for level 70 skill, 7 Spellstone Powder for level 72 skill, 9 Spellstone Powder for level 74 skill, 11 Spellstone Powder for level 76 skill, 12 Spellstone Powder for level 78 skill, and 15 Spellstone Powder for level 80 skill. If you're a Priest player, you will need a total of 59 Spellstone Powder items to unlock all your skills. You can unlock all your skills from the master unlock NPC, [Priest] Minerva.
Priest skills play a crucial role in determining the fate of the game. Clans and their parties constantly rely on Priests. Using Priest skills at the right time and place will always keep you and your party one step ahead. Priest skills also elevate you in events compared to your opponents. For example, parties with Priest skills like Parasite and Torment will progress faster in the Juraid Mountain event.
These are essential skills that you must use to prevent yourself or your party members from dying while killing creatures or fighting against other players. Healing skills are generally chosen as secondary skills and allocating 60 skill points is sufficient. If your team consists of mages, allocating 80 skill points will give your team an advantage.
