What Does Smurf Mean in Games?

As the game world expands, the humor and jargon in it also change and new words or phrases are added to this world every day. Some words used in the game may not be understood by non-players. These words are words that the players created to describe certain events. The word smurf is one of them. So What does Smurf mean? In a more correct way, what does Smurf mean in games?
Every multiplayer online game is based on a competition within itself. Here, players can strengthen and promote their characters, or compete with their own player abilities and move their characters to a different point from other players. While acting is at the forefront in FPS and Strategy games, it is a little behind in games such as MMORPG. But what all these games have in common is competition.
When it comes to competition, the opponents have strengths and weaknesses. For example, when a strong player takes place at the opposing team, the things you can do to beat him or her are usually limited. And, when a weak player is in the opposite team, you can easily achieve victory.
The term "Smurf" makes sense here, in a match where high-level player encountering a low-level player. In such cases, there is no equality between teams or characters. However, in some games, players with huge experience can join the game with different accounts (the level difference between accounts is thus eliminated). These accounts are called "Smurfs".
In other words, Smurf is a general name given to a high level/experienced player playing with a new, low-level account, not his main account. There are few things that new or inexperienced players can do against smurf accounts and that's why this issue is always criticized by most of the players.
